- Plan how and when you will communicate, train and implement
- Include everyone impacted by the new process at their level of involvement
- Talk about the Why
How will the new process benefit them, their teams and the company?
What problems will the new process solve?
- Address any concerns about the new changes.
- Use your promoters. Their enthusiasm will rub off on everyone else.
- Recognize and prepare for that awkward stage
Remind everyone that it will feel different at first.
Be patient! It will take time to feel comfortable and get used to the new changes.
- Incentivize with rewards and friendly competition.
- Set dates for training, transition, implementation, and feedback.
- Provide permanent training
Include links to documents and videos
Know what defines success in the new process and identify how to measure that success.
